Let’s talk about squats baby!
What doesn’t bend, breaks. The squat is the fundamental human movement pattern that requires multiple joint and muscle integration. Toddlers squat perfectly. And then we unlearn this in favor of bending over. We use this motion in standing, sitting, going to the bathroom, etc.￼ We NEED to be able to squat for full foundational movement.
As we age we lose flexibility and mobility. Overtime inflexibility and immobility lead to injury. ￼
